FIRE FIGHTER CHALLENGE: $300 from 330 Fire Stations

When "Feel the Burn 2007" was just an early idea, the Denver Fire Department donated $300 to the Feel the Burn 2007 fundraising effort for The Phoenix Society for Burn Survivors. Following their lead, Columbia and Toledo Firefighters donated $300 as well. Some of these stations have done boot drives or had other types of fundraising events. Some have passed just the hat around fellow Fire Fighter brothers and sisters. We are grateful for each and every dollar!! THANK YOU.

As Mike renews h
is "feeling the burn" journey, he would like to challenge your Fire station to raise $300 for "Feel the Burn 2007" to help burn survivors. Help your station become a leader in this effort...begin raising $300 now doing your part to further help burn survivors today!

Will you help mo
ve the needle? Will your station contribute? Please donate to The Phoenix Society! Call them directly at 1-616-458-2773 or click below to “Donate” button on this blog to donate securely online. Thank you!

Show Us the Money (Please!)

Mike will be "feeling the burn" as he rides across the country. His goal is to inspire anyone who reads his story to raise $100,000 to help burn survivors. All money raised will be donated to the Phoenix Society for Burn Survivors. The Phoenix Society For Burn Survivors based in Grand Rapid, Michigan was named editor’s choice by Self Magazine as one of the most fiscally responsible non-profits of the year. That means your donations will go as far as possible helping the people who really need your financial support!

The Phoenix Society has created a homepage for "Feel The Burn 2007" HERE. If you are interested in sponsoring, donating, or just want more information about the program or the Phoenix Society itself, please check the site out.
