TV Coverage
Thank you to Dayton Channel 22 for giving Feel the Burn '07 a lot of TV time - twice last night and the live morning show this AM. Mark, Gary, and Asa, Ch. 22 reporters, did a wonderful job in communicating what we are trying to accomplish with this fundraiser. Scott from the Germantown Press newspaper also interviewed Jen Whitestone and myself yesterday as well. I think the message that one honest effort can truly change the world are starting to be felt by all touched by this fundraiser and the Phoenix Society. People I have been speaking with are happy when they understand what we are all doing. I see in their eyes that they understand our efforts and intentions are not futile, they understand that with our single effort, we can change the world for all burn survivors and their families. THANK YOU to all who have donated to the Phoenix Society and are supporting burn survivors. Every penny counts and is appreciated. The father of a virtuous friend of mine said that "Pennies add up to nickles, nickles add up to dimes, dimes add up to dollars." How true that is.
