Thank you to everyone at Shriners, the Phoenix Society, the Boston Firefighters Association and Department, and most importantly, to all the burn survivors who showed up at the press conference this morning to offer your support. This ride is symbolic of your journey. May we inspire everyone who hears of this journey to donate to help all burn survivors.

It's a very fine thing you are doing Mike. It was great meeting you and riding a little way with you to kick off your trip. There are already many of us (burn survivors) cheering you on. You've already inspired us to start thinking about how to follow up on your journey.
Hi Mike. I'm Brad Johnson, one of the burn survivors in the burn survivor section. Great thing your doing. As a fireman, one hardly had a chance to see the ongoing results of a burn victem as they turn to burn survivor and move on. You are a hero to all of us survivors and I wish you a great ride across this wonderful country of ours. Take care and stay safe
